I have been offering comprehensive and affordable private lessons in Berlin since 2012 to students from all over the world. Each student has a different motivation for learning German and a unique learning style, and it’s my duty to find out what that is and adapt my lessons accordingly. I prefer 1-on-1 education, it allows to cater to the individual need. Most students prefer the traditional methods, others benefit more from practical learning methods.

I started learning with Petra at about A2 level of German but I still did not have much ability or confidence. Within a short space of time I was able to apply for a new and better job in a German speaking office and went through the entire interview process without needing to use English. My German skills let me join a sports club where I can take part fully while speaking German.
To accommodate social distancing during the corona pandemic, Petra changed our lessons to Skype lessons which worked exceptionally well.
